Thoughts on the match?
“I thought there were a lot of good things. Coming into the home of the champions last year, a very quality squad, to test ourselves off the bat and I think we did a good job of showing we have a clear way of playing, now we just got to work on it.”
Thoughts ahead of LA Galaxy 2 what to work on?
“Not shooting ourselves in the foot is probably the first thing. We gave up some cheap goals early in both halves. I think the response and personality we want the team to have was there. We need to get tighter on the defensive side for sure not just our defense we can get tighter as a full unit. We also need to get better at creating chances."
Thoughts on the mistakes at the back that lead directly to goals?
“Those are tough ones. Young team mistakes and not any one individual is responsible for them. A ruckus crowd and people are a little hyped up and in both halves it's an early mistake, that we just tune out. The good thing is those are very fixable.”

Thoughts on the return to Arizona a club you played for?
“It's changed a bit since I was here. They have a great fan base, great facilities. It's good for us to see it. To see where Oakland will be very soon. I’ve been at clubs just starting out and there are always growing pains. It's good to get this experience and its motivation. We can create something even bigger than this in Oakland. It's gonna happen.”
What do you think the team is the next steps ahead of Galaxy 2?
“Only Positives only positives. The way the team has come together without a coach, I can only find positives. Look at Danny Flores, local boy comes in when Wal gets hurt, short warmup, I thought he was amazing today. What I saw today was heart, and you can't coach heart. It's very hard to coach the heart but we had it. A lot of people give up three nil down and we didn't. I'm proud of the boys and we will grow from here.”
